Does Jan Blachowicz deserve respect as the UFC Light Heavyweight Champ?!😎 Jan Blachowicz defeated Israel Adesanya in a dramatic title defense that sent ripples through the MMA community. Despite being the UFC light heavyweight champion, Blachowicz was considered the underdog going into UFC 259, and his defeat of beloved up-and-comer Adesanya has continually been referred to as an upset. Even the commentators during the fight seemed completely dumbstruck by Blachowicz, and some fans have even called the commentary biased in favor of Adesanya. In the wake of his victory, one thing Jan Blachowicz has asked for is respect!
