It helps us Grow! π -How Good was Brock Lesnar Actually?! π Check out How Brock Lesnar Spends His Millions! π° https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oP_Pt4k-PA Former five-time UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar is a name dearly loved in the world of MMA, having one of the most dominant and iconic careers in the UFC. Holding a respectable 5-3-1 record in the scene, his standard of opposition tested the big names in the business such as Frank Mir and Randy Couture. Lesnar is generally considered as one of the best UFC warriors of all time, not just because of his distinctive physique, but also because of his impressive turnaround tale. He experienced a nearly career-ending accident, a miraculous rehabilitation, and a chance to strike back against both his enemies and personal demons to launch forth into a whole new chapter in his extraordinary life. Brock Lesnar was born in Webster, South Dakota, the son of Stephanie and Richard Lesnar. Of Polish and German origin, he grew up on his parents’ dairy farm. At the age of 17, Lesnar entered the Army National Guard and was transferred to an office because of his disability. He was discharged thereafter, and he then pursued a career in fighting. While growing up, Lesnar attended Webster High School, playing soccer, and participated in amateur wrestling, coming third in his senior year’s state championships. He then went to Bismarck Community College, where in his sophomore year, he captured the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) heavyweight wrestling title. He then moved to the University of Minnesota for a wrestling scholarship for his junior and senior college years. Lesnar captured the 2000 National College Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Heavyweight Wrestling Title his senior year, following a runner-up to Stephen Neal the previous year. His amateur career was complete with a record 106–5 overall during his four years of college. On October 20, 2008, Lesnar entered the Ultimate Fighting Championship at UFC 77. Then, on February 2, 2008, he started his career in a high-action UFC 81 versus Frank Mir. Due to his wide hands, Lesnar had to wear 4XL-sized gloves. He achieved an early take-off and started to land several shots, but was docked a point when a punch struck Mir on the back of his head. After another takeover by Lesnar, Mir managed to protect his knees and triggered the first round at 1:30, resulting in Lesnar losing his first UFC fight.
